The Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) is a dedicated organization created to address the challenges faced by Pakistanis living abroad and to ensure the welfare of their families. For over 46 years, OPF has been relentlessly serving the Pakistani diaspora, offering support, guidance, and practical solutions to their needs.

OPF was formed under the Emigration Ordinance of 1979 and officially registered on 8th July 1979 as a non-profit company under Section 42 of the Companies Act, 1913 (now the Companies Act, 2017). As a public sector company, it operates under the regulatory framework of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and complies with the Public Sector Companies (Corporate Governance) Rules, 2013.

The Board of Governors acts as OPF’s supreme authority, managing all operations and ensuring alignment with the government’s policy directions. Under the visionary leadership of Chairman Syed Qamar Raza Shah and Managing Director Mohammad Afzaal Bhatti, OPF has achieved new standards of efficiency and service excellence.

With steadfast commitment, OPF continues to provide comprehensive facilities and services—financial, social, and developmental—to overseas Pakistanis and their families, ensuring their well-being and a strong connection to their homeland.
