He further directed to export more skilled labour to meet requirements of skilled workforce from abroad.

29/05/2015 Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Pir Syed Saddarudin Shah Rashdi, has directed the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation for provision of more facilities and enhancement of quota in commercial and housing plots for Pakistani expatriates. He further said that Overseas Pakistanis abroad are working hard and are playing an important role in strengthening the economy by remitting remittances worth billions of dollars to the country, therefore they deserve proper attention.
28/05/2015 To overcome financial problems and inflation, OPF Board Governors in its 127th meeting approved grant of death compensation from Rs. 120 million to Rs 200 million per annum for deceased families of Overseas Pakistanis.
14/05/2015 Islamabad (the 14th May, 2015) A UN delegation headed by Mr.Jehangir Khan, Director, Counter-Terrorism Implementation Task Force (CTITF) has called on Pir Sadruddin Rashidi, Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development on Thursday the 14th May, 2015 in his office and held discussions on need assessment to engage youth including technical training of uneducated and less educated youth in Pakistan. The meeting was attended by the Secretary, Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development (OP&HRD), Joint Secretary, HRD, (OP&HRD) Managing Director, Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF), Managing Director, Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), and other senior officers of the Ministry.

07/04/2015 OPF provided free transportation facility to stranded Overseas Pakistanis at Karachi Port and they were also provided with fare to reach their homes. All the agencies involved in the process including OPF, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, FIA (Immigration and Passport Cell), and Pakistan Navy made excellent arrangements to provide maximum assistance and help in efficient manner for their safe return to their home towns.
07/04/2015 Another batch of 146 stranded Overseas Pakistanis who arrived from Yemen through a special Pakistan Navy ship PNS-Aslat was warmly welcomed and facilitated by Overseas Pakistanis Foundation at Karachi Port. Federal Secretary, Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Sikandar Ismail Khan along with Managing Director, Overseas Pakistanis Foundation, Habib Ur Rehman Khan, Deputy Managing Director, Israr Khan Jamali and other senior officials received the returnee Overseas Pakistanis at Karachi Port. These returnee Overseas Pakistanis were presented flowers and bouquet by Federal Secretary, Sikandar Ismail Khan, MD, OPF, Habib Ur Rehman Khan, DMD Israr Khan Jamali who had specially flown to Karachi to receive the Overseas Pakistanis who arrived through a special ship of Pakistan Navy.
