Q. No. 1 How to become OPF member?
Answer

OPF membership rules have been comprehensively laid down in the requisite application form and OPF introductory brochure. Concerned OP is briefed about the salient features of membership and also provided relevant informatory material.

 
Q. No. 2 Who can apply for OPF membership?
Answer

OP?s who proceeded abroad after 23rd March, 1979 on employment visa and are registered with the Protector of Emigrants offices become automatically OPF member under compulsory membership scheme, whereas the OP?s who depart abroad on visit/Umra visa and subsequently convert their such visa into employment visa can become members of OPF voluntarily by paying Rs. 1050/- as welfare fund through bank drafts/pay orders.

 
Q. No. 3 Whether house wives, students and unemployed OP?s can also become members of OPF?
Answer

Yes they can become members by paying Rs. 1050/- into the relevant account of OPF through bank drafts/pay orders.

 
Q. No. 4 What are the benefits of OPF membership?
Answer
OPF have different welfare, Educational Housing and other services, which are only, are not for our members. Overseas Pakistani is briefed concisely regarding different OPF welfare schemes and informatory material is also provided to him to know the details of benefits/facilities.
