Those affectees who could not deposited prescribed claim forms within the specified period i.e. 1st January, 1992 to 31st December 1995 are not enlisted with UNCC and can not get any compensation.

The UNCC is the final authority to recommend the amount in accordance with their methodology of claims. However, they are advised to submit appeal for reconsideration of their claimed losses along with the relevant supporting documents, if they so desired.

Is there any possibility for filing of fresh/time-barred claims in the schedule of UNCC? |

The Governing Council of the commission is not ready to accept any fresh/time-barred claims of any category. However, OPF has requested the UNCC several times but they refused to do so on the grounds that the four year is the longest period for filing of claims in the history.

Category E2 claim of M/s M. M. Khan is still under view with the UNCC as informed by them in the month of January, 2002. No further communication in this context is received in OPF from the UNCC uptil now.
