Dependents of deceased overseas Pakistanis and overseas Pakistanis how become disabled are eligible to apply for award of financial aid. The overseas Pakistanis should be a registered member of OPF.

Is there any time restriction for filing the applications for grant of financial aid? |
| Answer |
Applications for grant of financial aid can be filed within three years period. In case of death/disability abroad, three years period will be considered from the date of death and in case of death/disability in Pakistan, three years period will start from the date of return to Pakistan.

It is one time grant given to the destitute families of deceased/disabled Overseas Pakistanis @ Rs. 25000/- per family in shape of crossed cheque.

Widow of the deceased Overseas Pakistanis are entitled to get financial aid from OPF. In case of unmarried deceased OP, parents can also apply for financial aid.
